Relations with the EU Section has the following functions:
a) To provide communications and coordination necessary to conduct the
services of the Ministry in a fast, organized, effective and efficient
manner in relations with EU and legislation and harmonization efforts
towards EU and in efforts towards economical and technical cooperation,
b)
To carry out the work and processes of program, budget and execution of
projects of foreign origin in the province of the Ministry within the
framework of European Union programs and support provided from EU, to
follow up the preparations of projects of foreign origin, to inspect the
projects and their proposals, to take precautions required for the execution
of the projects deemed appropriate by the Ministry, to organize the cooperation
between the Ministry departments and Ministry and other national and international
institutions,
c)
To inspect and assess the projects, proposals and drafts of foreign origin
passed to the Ministry directly from international institutions and /
or other countries or by means of Ministry of External Affairs, Undersecretariat
of Treasury, State Planning Organization and other institution and organizations
in accordance with the EU policies of the Ministry,
d)
To carry out other tasks assigned by the Department Administration.
